Look for the rainbow…

Most people I know believe in fate or destiny. Some feel that it is what they want and what they strive for is what they achieve. To a large extent this might be true. But I believe in destiny and the fact that everything that happens is destined and that there is very little we can do to change it. This does not mean that we need to sit back and relax and wait for destiny to make things happen…

When a person makes a lot of mistakes or takes wrong decisions and undergoes a lot of mental pressure, we generally always blame the concerned person and say that the decision was wrong or that he didn’t work hard enough or something on those lines…

On the other hand when the same person later on becomes successful, we praise destiny and his luck. So when there were problems or wrong career decisions taken, why didn’t we blame destiny?

People and their insinuations are quite contradictory. We need to listen to all and finally decide what’s right for us.

We can take decisions, make goals, have aims, work towards the same and wait for destiny to act. At times we feel very disappointed with our fate and wish that life could have been a little less harsh on us. But then that is what fate is. We are born with a particular destiny and we need to accept it.

While some are born rich others have to face poverty all their lives. Life with its ups and downs is not the same for all people.

Yet the fact that we have a life which changes colour so often that it is like a rainbow flashing colours…

Violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red, the different hues of a rainbow which reflect in the different phases of life…

Then there are the blacks and the whites…which at times will hide all these beautiful colours and make us feel life is colourless and meaningless.

But just like the rainbow which appears after a drizzle, the colours will come through the black and white and make life beautiful and worth living…

A rainbow, which is so amazing, a spectacular sight amongst the dark clouds…

We just need to look for those colours…
They will push through the blacks and appear in strong hues…
And bring back that smile on your face and brighten your life…
